Zou Li created these two paintings in the early 80s. It was a transition decade from a Post-cultural-revolution era to an Open-door and Reform Policy era. At this era, the ideology of people’s spirit and mind was reflected on many art works. Some paintings were still deeply affected by the yielding, passion, revolution and sacrifice spirit. On the other hand, we can still find that people were getting relaxed and enjoyed their life.
